Nerve Research Foundation

The purpose of the Nerve Research Foundation is to support important ongoing work by researchers and clinicians into such conditions as multiple sclerosis, perpheral neuropathy, neuropathic pain and Alzheimer's disease.

Chinese New Year Dinner

The NRF was the beneficiary of a Chinese New Year dinner held on January 31, 2009 by the Australian Chinese Charity Foundation (ACCF). The generosity of those who attended the dinner, and in particular the ACCF, will assist our current campaign to endow an Ed Barnum Research Fellowship in memory of Mr Ed Barnum, a previous NRF President.

The Fellowship is being established to provide ongoing support for a young scientist or clinician/scientist to further research into the mechanisms causing the incapacitatation of multiple sclerosis.
